How these were shot
On the job, with a phone, in the customer's driveway. The before is the car the way it showed up. The after is the same car before we pulled off. Nothing is staged and nothing is edited.
What does the process involve?
The lens on the left is the original oxidized surface. We strip the failed UV layer, cut back the oxidation, refine the plastic and seal it with a fresh clear coat. The right side is the same lens after that.
Will mine look like this?
If the cloudiness is on the outside, yes, that's what these photos show. If there's fog inside the lens, restoration won't fix it and we'll tell you before quoting.
How long does it last?
The seal decides it. Garage-kept cars hold longer. The clear coat is warrantied for a year and a half.
How long does the job take?
